About Show-Me Home Repairs
Show-Me Home Repairs is a veteran-owned home repair and property maintenance company serving Johnson County, Missouri.
Our story starts in the trades over 20 years ago with general carpentry, and it's covered a lot of ground since: heavy equipment, forklifts, snow plows, trailers, and more than a decade directing maintenance across a dozen-plus residential properties and a 12,000 square foot commercial building, all at the same time.
That history means two things for you. First, there's not much on a property we haven't fixed, driven, or maintained. Second, we've learned the difference between a repair that looks done and a repair that stays done.
Some of that came out of the Air Force, running and teaching heavy equipment, and out of a shop that maintained parachutes and life-saving gear. Some came off a trim carpentry crew. All of it was somebody trusting us with something expensive or something dangerous, which turns out to be good training for being handed a house key.
The military taught us the rest: show up when you say you will, stay calm, work the problem, and finish the job right the first time.
We started this company because Johnson County needs what most areas are missing: one skilled, reliable, local call for the full range of home and property repair. Just work done right by people who live here.

Josh has lived in Warrensburg for more than 25 years. He served at Whiteman Air Force Base and never left the area. Two of his kids go to Warrensburg High School.
That matters more in this trade than in most. When we quote your job, we're quoting somebody who might be behind you in line at the grocery store on Saturday. There's no regional office to escalate to and no franchise owner three states away who has never seen your street.
If the work is bad here, everybody finds out, and we still have to live here. That's the whole accountability structure, and it holds up better than most warranties.
